Change colors mid-strand, mid-production
Development at Extrufood never stops. Our recent focus lies heavily on creating unique colour changes within a single strand — and the new Dieswitch®, paired with the Diemix®, has made this a reality. Individually colored strands can now be switched during the extrusion process, changing the colors of each strand at every switch.
Beyond the many available color and shape combinations, the Dieswitch® enables additional effects such as sun downer and natural color ripening — subtle visual transitions that bring confectionery to life in a way no other system can match.
This development has delivered an enormous boost to the industry: a multitude of new combinations, higher production volume per line, and greater overall flexibility and efficiency — all from a single piece of equipment.
